about

here we celebrate queer bodies in club culture.

body movements is a place for queer + trans art to be discovered + applauded, queer exploration to be encouraged, and queer expression to flourish.

this august we move to a new home, a new playground.
london’s first outdoor, queer arts, dance music festival.

from our roots as a diy, radical queer gathering, sprawling across 15 spaces in hackney wick, we are now growing into an open space amongst the trees of southwark park; a space that we can call our own, a space where we can develop bespoke stages with high-end sound + lighting to enhance your dance, and a space for curiosity and allyship to flourish.

our dream has always been to find our bodies in spaces we never thought we would be, spaces where we are all free to connect, to grow, to express and most importantly to MOVE.

FOR MY BODY.
FOR YOUR BODY.
FOR THEIR BODY.

we believe in the power of the queer community taking up space.
we welcome all bodies + celebrate self-expression.

we platform electronic music from across queer and trans club landscape. we aim to expand the spectrum of what people think queer electronic music is and can be.

we unite diverse scenes for a shared purpose, promoting inclusivity and forging community in queer club culture.
we recognise strength in gathering to celebrate and uplift + we also recognise that there is more work to be done.

we treat our own + other’s bodies with respect.
we prioritise harm reduction + welfare to create brave spaces for the queer community.
we continue this impact beyond the festival walls through our work with LGBTQ+ causes.
